Now, that's a damn scary conclusion...
So, I created this blog once upon a time, and did so anonymously, so that I could feel free to talk about certain relationships in my life and certain people and not compromise their privacy. That just because I wanted to share things about me, didn't mean I should share things about them.
So what do you do when you create an anonymous blog for that purpose, and then you meet folks doing it, and then you want to share stuff about them? But about you. But about them??
Do I create an anonymous blog within the blog? Hell - that seems like a lot of work to cultivate a new set of followers, and frankly, with three different worlds out there, I would get very confusing. Matrix-like .. Inception-like.
It seems my only choice is to go *gasp!* back to Facebook...
Hmm....
Noooooooo not Facebook. Madness lies that way.
ReplyDeleteI know!! You see my dilemma?? Respecting other people sucks! ;)
DeleteSometimes I wish that I had an anonymous blog so I could dump the occasional load of baggage onto the internet. But I can't, because I'm not, so I don't. But sometimes I wish I could.
ReplyDeleteSo once in a while, I'll pop up on somebody else's blog and end up being a bit more open than I can be on my own site.
So... what you're saying is that I should go over to YOUR site and spread my news? ;) I'll just pick one of your older posts - completely unrelated - and leave a long comment that no-one will see...? Hmm.... ;)
DeleteThere you go, kind of like the photo bomb, equivalent, of blog posts? :)
DeleteVery "Inception"-like. Or maybe you should just jack back into the Matrix and take the red pill instead? Now you have me wondering how on earth to share the one story that my Sunshine said I can NEVER EVER put on the internet, because truly it is funny and should be out there. Maybe I could put it in one of your older posts! But then I'd have to create a new profile so it could still be anonymous? Sunshine is a party-pooper.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you, me and Ken, and any other bloggers who want can create a new anonymous shared blog, and we'll each take turns posting and so no-one will know who the blogger is... Yeah, that's it...
DeleteActually, that's kind of awesome.
DeleteUm, guys? This would never work. You all have different writing styles. People would know. Then again, if it was a new blog you would pick up new people. But really, people aren't often as swift as I give them credit for.
DeleteSo ignore me. I was never here.
